GUN PURCHASE TERMS & CONDITIONS

It is the customer's responsibility to follow all Federal, State, and Local Laws. All firearms MUST be picked up by the BUYER (ACTUAL PURCHASER) at Rock River Tactical. A valid U.S. and/or state government issued identification document, or combination of government issued documents, which reflect the buyer’s current residential address must be presented prior to the completion of any firearm-related paperwork and background check initiation. The actual purchaser must be 18 years of age or older to purchase rifles and/or shotguns. The actual purchaser must be 21 years of age or older to purchase handguns and/or firearm receivers, frames, silencers, or pistol-grip only firearms. Certain states have stricter laws regarding a firearm buyer’s age and Rock River Tactical complies with such requirements.

Depending on the selected firearm type, additional identification credentials may be required. The actual buyer must personally fill out BATFE Form 4473 as well as any applicable state and/or local forms. If a prospective buyer is unable to read, write and/or complete the required firearm paperwork, such a prospective buyer is invited to contact the store to discuss potential accommodations that may be available depending on the circumstances. Upon completion of all required forms, Rock River Tactical will conduct a required background check on the buyer (actual purchaser) in accordance with Rock River tactical policies and all Federal, State, and Local Laws. A fee is associated with the background check; the purchaser is responsible for this fee and it is paid at the store. PURCHASE OF FIREARMS POLICY

We will gladly accept the return or exchange of any "unfired" NEW firearms, purchased within 30 days, that is in its "original packaging" and is accompanied by a receipt. A 20% restocking fee will be assessed on all "in stock" items and a 40% restocking fee will be assessed on all "special ordered" items. USED FIREARMS SALES ARE FINAL. Any used firearm wanting to be returned will be looked at like a used firearm purchase.

All firearms purchases that need to be ordered will require a minimum of $100 deposit, which is non-refundable if cancelled. The balance of the firearm will be due upon pick up of the firearm.

Denied Background Checks - If your background check is denied, the purchase price of the firearm will be refunded to the original buyer (a restocking fee WILL apply). Another person picking up a firearm on behalf of a prohibited individual is committing a “straw purchase”. This is a very serious federal crime punishable by a fine of up to $250,000.00 and 10 years in prison. UNCLAIMED ORDERS (Or Orders with no paperwork initiation) Will be considered cancelled after 17 days with NO refund.
